About
The first time this page was up and running was back when the internet was fresh and I was learning how to fine-tune my html skill with notepad. I still remember those long days sitting there in my dorm room trying to figure out the blasted inner-workings of a developing technology, and despite the fun I had developing the site, I was pretty much burned out before I could update the content. My first design was based on a Halloween theme, and my second design was in honor of Star Wars: Episode 1.
The second time I dove back into html was a more serious attempt at attracting viewers to the page and it was the first time I was exposed to CSS. About 5 years had lapsed between my first site and this newest attempt, and things were much different. WYSIWYG page design tools had finally grabbed a foothold in mainstream page design and it felt like I was a novice all over again. I managed to create about 30 pages worth of information, and even went so far as to translate it into Japanese as well. It was once again a lot of fun, but the site got lost in the shuffle of moving around and digitalKI disappeared from the internet a second time.
10 years or so from when that first version of digitalKI was created I’m finally getting back into the idea I’ve kept locked away in my head for so long. This time I have my own server (ok, it’s hosted by someone else) and instead of slamming myself with ridiculous goals, I’m just going to try to take it easy and provide readers with some content that will hopefully prove to be interesting. I want to use this site to not bring attention to myself, but mostly to help those around me find a voice for projects they care about. Feel free to contact me if you want to add content or give me suggestions.
