You really want hospitals to be more like the DMV?

Sail a boat to Monterey and visit me, you SOB.

Welcome Karen, W.A. It's been ages since my last post, but for some reason this entry keeps getting me tons of hits. :)

I have to reiterate that the looks are probably more intimidating than the taste (much like W.A. said). It's more salty than anything, but not too scary. I understand how W.A. feels though. Why is it that food that you already 'know' is going to taste bad ends up being so hard to eat? This kind of gag factor is probably the hardest part about trying new food because usually someone wants me to try that food and I want to not throw up.

I just returned from Pisa Italy where I ordered the special for the evening, "blackened fish over rice" and boy was I surprised when a plate of the blackest rice I've ever seen arrived. I expected blackened fish, not a pile of rice as black as anything I've ever seen. Turns out it was small pieces of squid mixed into the rice and blackened with the ink. It was a bit intimidating, but I tried it and indeed it was quite good, but every bite was still a bit hard to take. It felt sort of felt like being on Survivor. It was fine, but not something I'll try again...at least not on purpose.

Wow, I never thought you would turn out to be the type of guy who plays video games on a train just to offend old people. I'm horrified. Oh and btw, I found your ass!!! You better email me :)

Kevin, we were discussing squid ink pasta today at work and I remembered your entry. It is quite common here, especially in the North End, the Italian neighborhood. I've never had the courage to try it!

I must agree with you Kevin, Death Proof was amazing. Grindhouse flopped over here too. It was in theaters for about a week, then it vanished. Planet Terror was alright, but I thought Death Proof was awesome.

Kenny rented that a few months ago for us. It was a little too creepy for me. As you may imagine, Kenny loved it.

Actually, I am more curious about the almost panic attack. I think that proves your nonviolent nature more than anything else. :)

And just to briefly point out - doesn't the fact that I didn't do anything violent disprove the idea that movies/games cause violence?
